Très intéressant. Existe-t-il quelque chose d'équivalent à l'ouvrage sur la lutherie italienne, concernant la lutherie française ? On en parle un peu mais de manière succincte, ce qui du reste est normal puisque ça n'est pas le sujet.
Je me demande, entre autre, ce qu'il en est des luthiers qui on travaillés chez Stradivarius : Médard et Decomble ?

Né à Ittre en 1723, Ambroise de Comble n'aurait pas pu être l'élève de Stradivarius, mort en 1737...semble-t-il...( ou alors un très très jeune apprenti..)

Effectivement, si il est bien mort à cette date cela explique que l'on n'ait pas entendu parler de ses instruments. Il reste Médard. J'aimerais bien savoir comment ont évolués ses instruments après sa formation. Cela pourrait être un premier lien avec la lutherie italienne. Comme je n'ai pas de livre sérieux sur la lutherie française ?

Ambroise Decomble n´était pas français me semble t-il, mais belge.
